Affiliate Offers Drive Traffic To Your Site

Nobody can deny that affiliate offers drive traffic to your sites. What the heck do you do with it after you catch it?

There’s an upside and a downside to the continuous launches being carried out by the “Gurus” of the Internet Marketing niche.

The downside is that with their seemingly endless resources and pre-existing mailing lists it’s easy for them to dominate a launch and VERY difficult for the average (or even above average) marketer to leave their mark during the same ad campaign.

The upside is what we are going to focus on. The benefits to the average marketer for participating in a major product launch are as follows:

  1. An opportunity to generate traffic
  2. An opportunity to earn significant commissions
  3. An opportunity to learn the mechanics of a launch
  4. An opportunity to rub elbows with and get to know some of the gurus
  5. An opportunity to provide opportunity for others to benefit

Using the traffic generation techniques and tactics that we’ve discussed in previous articles you will learn more with every launch or product promotion that you take part in. With that education comes wisdom. Before long you’ll instinctively know which venues will get the best response to your ads. You begin to work more efficiently and less frantically.

As your experience grows you may consider creating your own products. Just think about how much you’ve read in order to get to the level of knowledge that you have right now. If you can manage to get some of those ideas on paper or recorded, you can begin to create your own products. Once you have your own product/s you switch places on the “affiliate wheel of fortune”. You now have the chance to have others working for YOU. This is where your earlier efforts begin to grow exponentially. With the efforts of dozens, hundreds or even thousands of affiliates selling your products and advertising FOR YOU all over the web, you can see how this will quickly grow into the ultimate traffic magnet that you’ve been looking for.

Collaboration is another great tool to have in your traffic toolbox. Once you’ve established a significant list and/or created some products of your own, you’re now in a position to do a “list swap” or “adswap” (mutual mailing to each others lists) or JV (joint venture) with another marketer that has a product that is a natural fit for your own. Both of your lists will benefit from this interaction and you’ll likely end up with many more names in your own list of motivated buyers. What could be better than that?

So whether you’re advertising someone else’s product or your own affiliate offers drive traffic to your site. Your task is to maximize the traffic once it lands on your site. We’ll be covering just how to do that in future articles.
